Essential Duties and Responsibilities

May include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Should be done with or without reasonable accommodations.
Other duties may be assigned.
Perform Set-up/weld RT & UT Quality Vessel Welds.
Perform Set-up/weld RT Quality Pipe Weld.
Perform Set-up/weld UT Quality Nozzle Welds.
Perform Set-up/run Carbon Arc Gouging. Able to make any UT or RT Weld Repair.
Clean and stamp all welds.
Perform Set-up/weld all structural non-code welds.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED and/or vocational school diploma and 2 years of experience required. Higher educational background is preferable.

Other Skills, Abilities or preferred Qualifications

Excellent technical and welding proficiency in pressure vessel and structural steel manufacturing.
Must pass a qualified Welding Test in SMAQ, FCAW, and GMAW procedures.
Experience with ASME Codes is helpful.
Experience in an ISO 9000 environment is suggested.
Knows how to run all welding equipment.
Ability to read drawings and interpret blueprints, WPS’s/PQR’s.
Ability to lead others and plan ahead.
Knowledgeable of PT, MT, UT, RT methods.
